Down from Boston visiting Family in Greenville. They wanted to share one of their favorite local spots and its no wonder why they love it!! Friendly, very knowledgeable staff, super chill environment and Absolutely Amazing Beer!!! Just need to work on the in-store merch......would've loved some gift T-shirts... However, the beer is so good there's a chance I won't remember that part!!!
We really enjoy the toasty farmer events here, such a great variety of local venders here and so many different choices of home made products, food and of course beer if you like! We enjoyed the atmosphere and our dog felt very welcomed as well, will definitely be back again!
Stopped from out of town and really enjoyed the open space and brews. They had a beer run 5k that morning and it was super festive and enjoyable. The dunkel on tap was our groups favorite but all pretty decent options. Well done Brewery 85 cheers :)
Decent sized tap room, decent selection of craft brews that are pretty good, friendly staff. The hours are weird though, wish they were open more days and longer. They have a map on the wall that you can put a pin in whatever city you are from, which is pretty cool. It was the final stop on my Greenville brewery tour, I would recommend stopping by.
It was okay. The new tasting building is really nice but on such a hot day, air conditioning or fans would have been really nice. Due to the pandemic, we were told they weren't doing any tastings or flights - just one 16 oz pour or two 8 oz pours. Having never tasted their beer before, it was hard to choose a pour. The staff weren't friendly or helpful - Unfortunate, given that my friends tell me how great they've been in the past. I probably won't be back unless it's for a special event.
I alsoluly loved this brewery it's open ..great brew and a great atmosphere it's a Shane it's closing cause of all the quality traits ..awesome brewery 85
I know almost nothing about beer. Since I started a new job several months ago, and fortunately enough to work with a team of all men... who enjoy/love beer!!, I started looking for beer to bring back to the team. Of all the breweries I researched in the Greenville area, I picked Brewery 85 because they have a selection of beer that satisfies the variety of taste on my team. I was greeted by a nice employee who helped me with my shopping. i was a little disappointed that they only have 3 beer in cans, but fortunately, one of the 3 is a lager, and one of the guys on my team has allergy to beer and can only drink lager. Whew. The price was reasonable - $10 per 6-pack, I bought 6, 2 of each. I tried the Fishin' Beer and the Weizen, and I like the lighter beer better. The Fishin' Beer has an interesting taste at the end right after I swallowed the beer then the taste went away. It took a little getting used to. The Weizen was a little stronger (5% ALC) and I was only able to drink 1/2 the can. I definitely like the Fishin' Beer better. I don't plan on trying the Southern Style because I don't like the hop flavor. Someone once told me that dogs love beer... well, not mine. She was interested in smelling it but that's about it, and my other dog isn't interested either. 3:-)
Cool place good beer selections. Nice staff. Great to get together with friends. Location is easy to drive past the first time there. Seating inside and outside. Easy to lose track of time here. Would definitely come back.
